What is aerobic gymnastics?
Aerobic Gymnastics is the perfect sport for active people with energy to burn. It involves performing high intensity movement patterns to heart pounding music; you can perform by yourself or join your friends in pairs and groups. Check out our youtube channel to see our gymnasts in action.
Are your coaches qualified?
Our coaches have a minimum of level 1 standard coach training with British Gymnastics. We have two Level 5 coaches (high performance). Within the club we also have some older gymnasts who are trained an qualified helpers working the younger groups.
Can we still join your classes after the term has started?
YES, anyone can start at anytime, as long as we have spaces in the class we ask you just pay for the first 2 sessions at reception, then switch you to a payment plan normally by Bank Transfer
Can parents watch?
We have special ‘open curtains’ events where the team can show off the gymnasts skills to the parents, carers and family, these will be listed on the club Facebook and newsletter, the normal training is closed to parents for safety and space reasons.
What is your ratio of children to coaches?
The amount of coaches will depend on the age groups, number of children and level of class. We try to encourage the older gymnasts to help out with the new and younger ones where appropriate.
Can parents get involved?
YES, Parent involvement is key to the continued growth and success of the club, while the coaches run the classes, the club loves to have special parties for the gymnasts, fund raising events & other activities like our Saturday Morning Kitchen.
What do we do if a child is not happy?
We have a set guideline for issues of any sort see the information page for the details of our welfare officers and club manager
We have a page about this HERE
