The specialty discipline of the club is Aerobic Gymnastics, but we have coaches qualified in tumbling, acrobatics and rhythmic gymnastics.
Aerobic gymnastics (also known as Sports Aerobic) is a competitive sport originating from traditional aerobics in which complex, high-intensity movement patterns and elements of varying difficulty are performed to music.

Tiny Tumblers – Age 3, Parent and child (SEE TIMETABLE)

Teaching young children the fun and safe side of gymnastics, while working their balance, co-ordination, strength, flexibility, power and body awareness. Working towards club competitions and displays. Gymnasts to wear shorts and t-shirt or leotard.

British Gymnastics – Award Scheme (SEE TIMETABLE)
By invitation, for gymnasts over the age of 7 who have potential to progress through the British gymnastics award scheme. It will assist in the progressive development of core skills such as balance, strength, flexibility and co-ordination

British Gymnastics – Introduction Aerobic Code IAC (SEE TIMETABLE)
Ideal for 7+ gymnasts, but suitable for all ages, Introductory Aerobics incorporates flexibility, strength and stamina, and gives gymnasts the opportunity to learn new skills and perform alongside their friends.
A new competition framework, Introductory Aerobic Code (IAC), has also been developed to enable participants to compete alongside their friends in teams of three to six.
Once Completed Gymnasts can be selected for Junior Recreational or Award Squads

Regional Squad (RAC) (SEE TIMETABLE)
By invitation, for gymnasts that will compete at RAC level Regional competitions. This level is ideal for gymnasts starting their competitive journey, with elements and routines that provide a superb starting point and underpin the next level, NAC, beautifully. The gymnasts compete as individuals, pairs, trios and groups.

The Elite Squad (NAC) (SEE TIMETABLE)
The NAC gymnasts are those who have shown the ability and attitude to compete at National competitions.It is the next level for gymnasts to compete in, and again has a structure that allows gymnasts of all ages to compete, either as individuals or part of a pair, trio or group, under the same rules as the FIG gymnasts but with slightly lower elements and no compulsory moves, with the NAC cup going to the gymnast at the British Championship with the highest score.

These have been chosen by British Gymnastics to compete at International level. This means that gymnasts compete under the same rules used internationally, and each age group has its own compulsories that have been used to develop the gymnasts’ skills. A compulsory from each skill family means that the gymnasts must train all parts of fitness in order to progress through the age groups and show flexibility, power, dynamic strength and static strength and at the same time show terrific fitness, control and choreographic skills.
